About The B29/B24 Squadron's AirPower History Tour
The Commemorative Air Force's B-29/B-24 Squadron brings together aircraft, pilots, and crews from over 70 CAF units across the country to create the AirPower Squadron – a changing assortment of military aircraft that annually tour the country bringing the sights, sounds, and excitement of American air power to the American public and beyond.
Our AirPower History tour allows us to continue our mission to educate, honor, and inspire by telling the stories of the men and women who built, flew, and maintained these aircraft through pivotal moments in American history in addition to honoring those who served and sacrificed in our armed forces and who continue to serve today.
The B29/B24 Squadron operates two of the rarest bombers in the world - "FiFi", the most famous, flying B-29 Superfortress and the equally rare "Diamond Lil" the world's only flying B-24 Liberator. Our aircraft, available for ride flight experiences and tours, allow the public to see, hear, and experience these incredible aircraft in ways no static museum display can ever replicate.
